Q. What types of therapy do you provide?
A. I pull from various different therapeutic modalities and use an eclectic approach with my clients. Existential and humanistic therapy helps me explore life’s meaning with a client who may be forming or reshaping their worldview. They’re perfect for the emerging middle/high school philosopher! Feminist therapy explores how concepts of race, gender, and disability can contribute to worsened mental health and how to navigate every aspect of your identity. These modalities provide an inclusive framework, especially for neurodivergent people, that allow me to explore the biggest questions and issues my clients have while maintaining the highest level of their autonomy and respect.
Q. Who is your ideal client?
A. The people I work best with are those who really enjoy talking and having an open dialogue. I thrive when my clients tell me about their passions and interests, as it allows me to incorporate the things that matter most to them into our therapy. I primarily see those who are autistic (or suspect that they are), as well as gifted and ADHD individuals. I do have a knack for noticing autistic traits in those who would not be traditionally diagnosed and referring them for formal diagnosis (It takes one to know one, as I say). If you’re someone who is curious about how their brain functions and how it affects your daily life, I’m the guy for you! I don’t see neurodivergence as something to be cured; rather, I see it as something to grow with and nurture throughout our lives.
Q. What is your pay scale?
A. Full self-pay is $150, and family therapy is $175.
Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. I am not paneled with insurance at this time. Through my group practice’s credentials, I am able to superbill for all major insurances using out-of-network benefits!
