Hi, friends, my name is Aaron Percoco! I’m a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Jacksonville, FL and the proud owner of Amplify Therapeutic Services LLC. I specialize in neurodivergent-affirming therapy for kiddos and adults who are looking to learn how to exist in a world that was not created with them in mind. I also specialize in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and its impact on neurodivergent families. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the neurodivergent population of Jax since 2022. As a member of the neurodivergent (Autistic/ADHD) community and a former gifted kid myself, I take immense pride in providing care to my community and working with kids and adults alike who face similar challenges to me. I am a fierce advocate for my clients and will always work to ensure their safety and peace. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me at the park taking a walk or playing basketball whenever I can. I love the Florida sun and try to be outside as much as possible. I love to multitask, so I often listen to a podcast or audiobook that helps me better understand my clients and myself while I’m outside. I enjoy playing my guitars and cooking when I’m home. I often bring baked goods to the office and am happy to share! I consider myself a funny human and will often use my impressions/humor in session when appropriate. I’m a firm believer that therapy is allowed to be fun, too!
